About dumbwaystodie.org
dumbwaystodie.org is a small independent game site built around Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games, the mini-game collection from the rail-safety franchise, served from this domain so it plays in the page. The site was rebuilt in September 2026 as a plain static site so it loads fast on a school Chromebook and does not depend on a database.
The rest of the site stays in the same lane: puzzles and quizzes that trick you on purpose, one-tap reflex arcade games, stickman physics games, a few live .io rooms and some quieter brain breaks, each with its own page describing what it is, how it controls and why it is here.
How the games work
Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games is the official HTML5 build served from this domain, so it loads with the page. The other games are HTML5 builds embedded from the game host that serves our sites; the .io games connect to their own servers. Nothing installs, no account is needed, and nothing loads until you press Play.
Who writes the content
The descriptions, control guides, tips and answers on this site are written by the people who run it, after playing the games. Where we describe a mechanic, it is because we have used it. If something we have written is wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.
Ownership and rights

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Metro Trains Melbourne or PlaySide Studios; the game on this site is their published browser build, credited to them, and the other games belong to their developers. All other games remain the property of their respective developers and publishers. If you own a game listed here and want it removed, get in touch and we will take it down.
