Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games — Every Zone on the Map and What Its Mini-Games Ask of You

The map
The Games opens on an island map with a train line looping through it. Three zones are open from the start — Adrenaland, Freezerville and Drown Town — plus the Dumbest of the Dumb tournament tent in the middle and a Dumb Dome sign that reads 'under construction'. Tap a zone and its sign shows your best score, three stars to fill and the four events it holds; Play starts the run.
Adrenaland
The extreme-sports zone, and the best place to learn the game because its four events cover the inputs. Risky Ramp Assembly is 'Complete the Ramp — rotate the pieces': tap the wrong-way sections of a wooden ramp until the bean can ride it. Zoo Parkour is 'Leap — tap to avoid the animals': a runner, a tap per obstacle. Volcano Climbing is 'Avoid the lava — trace the path': one continuous swipe up the dark track, and any straying finger is a lava bath. Unsafe Bungee is the timing event on the rope, and the one that most often ends with a splash.
Freezerville
Winter sports and one famous line from the song. Don't Lick the Pole says 'just don't', and the trick is that the event is passed by doing nothing while the bean eyes the pole and the timer runs. Avalanche Chalet is 'Swipe — to close the windows and doors' before the snow fills the living room. Patchy Ice is 'Leap — tap to avoid the cracks' on skates, and the yeti event is 'Groom — wipe away the bugs and grot', a rapid scrub with the finger or mouse over a very large, very patient animal.
Drown Town
The water park. The events here lean on timing over the water — diving for the chest, getting past the shark, keeping clear of the piranhas — and they are the ones most likely to eat a life when the timer starts speeding up, because the safe window is narrow and the animation before it is long.
Dumbest of the Dumb
The tournament tent takes one token per run and mixes events from every zone at a rising pace. It is also where the characters unlock: the sign lists silhouettes and the score each one needs, starting at 200. Tokens come from the Daily Gift the map hands out, so the tournament is a now-and-then thing unless you are careful with them.
The train doors
Tap the Dumb Dome sign and, instead of a zone, you get a single event — Don't Force the Doors — in which a bean has jammed its limbs between closing train doors and you tap each limb to pull it clear. It is the game's little nod to the rail-safety campaign the whole franchise came from.
